A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

MoPups NC is an animal care service that is unique in many ways. Instead of having your dogs stay in a boarding facility, imagine a sleepover in our home! Our goal is to provide consistent and reliable care for your pets, including feeding, play routines, and sleep schedules.

Our home has a fully fenced in backyard, toys are everywhere, and large dog beds to make them comfortable! If your dog is used to being crated when you leave them at home or you are training them, you can leave yours at home, and we will have on ready for them to keep their training on track. All you’ll need to pack for your pup is their food (to keep their tummy happy) and any medications that they are on, we will take care of the rest!

Founding family

Hello! We are the Rooneys, the family behind MoPups NC. We started pet sitting as a side gig in 2016, then decided that it was the perfect way to continue having an adventurous life and avoid the 9-5. We open up our home to dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. We emphasize that we designed the MoPups home experience to be exactly how we'd care for our own furry family.

In 2017, Sadie joined the family, and we told her she'd have to begin "babysitting" to supplement her toy fund - she happily agreed and was greeted by a daycare dog the next day.

Backyard Daycare

As outdoor enthusiasts, we believe that a big backyard is one of the best places to spend time. The pups couldn’t agree more.

The yard extends beyond what the picture shows, making it perfect for big-time zoomies!

When they’re not outside playing, they’ll enjoy the comforts of our home! Our little brick ranch home is filled with large dog beds and plenty of places to play if it’s rainy outside. In the picture below, you’ll see the indoor space where the pups can play and where a few crates are set-up for crate-trained pups to take a nap or sleep at night.
